The Rolling Stones – Gimme shelter
This is my very favourite Stones track, and I am not sure it’s even that close. If I ever needed a produce call to arms, I would use this for background music.

The Supremes – Love is here and now you’re gone
The supremes might be my favourite Motown band, which is pretty high praise. I struggled to decide between this and Where did our love go? but in the end this just edged it.

The Beach Boys – Caroline, No
The highlight of a spectacular album. The contrast between sunny melody and aching melancholy simmering just beneath the surface is stunning. Additionally, a pretty dope album sleeve.
