The Beach Boys -The Trader

This is taken from the Beach Boy’s 1973 album Holland, which is a later career gem. This has been stuck in my head for weeks (in a good way).

Mistah F.A.B.* – Ghost Ride It | (GPF)

This track by Bay Area rapper Mistah F.A.B. (what a great name…) combines two essential East Bay cultural references that I learned about while living in Berkeley, Ghostridin‘ and The Hyphy Movement. Both are worth further investigation if they are new to you.

Also, the Ghostbusters motif is rather pleasing…
